Our Programs

Practical, culturally informed community support — designed to build confidence, encourage healthy choices and reduce social isolation.

Youth and Community Engagement

We support young people from African and culturally diverse backgrounds to participate positively in their communities.

Activities may include:

  • Community sporting activities
  • Rugby league and other recreational programs
  • Mentoring and positive role modelling
  • Transport to approved community activities
  • Cultural and community events
  • Education and employment information
  • Referrals to appropriate support services

Our activities are designed to build confidence, encourage healthy choices and reduce social isolation.

We are not a professional sporting club, sporting agent or clinical mental-health provider.

Support for African Seniors

Language barriers, mobility difficulties and limited knowledge of Australian systems can leave some older community members isolated.

Our planned support may include:

  • Social and community connection
  • Assistance accessing information
  • Transport to appointments and community activities
  • Help connecting with appropriate aged-care providers
  • Culturally appropriate companionship and advocacy

Any regulated aged-care services will only be offered after the required registrations and approvals have been obtained.

Cultural and Family Support

We aim to provide culturally informed community support for African children and families.

This may include:

  • Cultural connection and education
  • Community mentoring
  • Language and communication assistance
  • Support during meetings with service providers
  • Helping families understand Australian systems
  • Referrals to qualified family, legal and child-safety services

Our role is to provide cultural understanding, community connection and practical assistance. We do not replace government child-safety authorities or qualified professional services.

Advocacy, Education and Referrals

We provide general information, encouragement and referrals to help people better understand and access community, health, education and support services.

We do not provide legal advice, medical treatment or clinical mental-health services.
